Reveals his lighting-flash to thee.
Whate’er thou sayst
Is but as inference has guessed;
He speaks upon the eye’s experience,
And therein lies the difference.
Èy bandeh bedân-ke khâjeh-ye sharq în-ást,
Áz ábr-e ghûhar bâr-e ázal barq în-ást.
Tô har cheh be-ghô’îe áz qîyâsî ghô’îe,
Ôu qesseh ze dîdeh mîkûnad, farq în-ást.
