I’ll tell thee clear
A tongueless tale
From every ear
I woul conceal.

Though I shall speak
Where all is heard
No ear shall take
But thine my word.

Bâ tô sûkhan-ân-e bî zabân khâh-ám ghûft,
Áz jûmleh-e ghôsh-hâ nahân khâh-ám ghûft.

Jûz ghôsh-e tô nashnavad hadîth-e man kas,
Har chand meyân-e mardûm-ân khâh-ám ghûft.
