Rise up, and go about
The Pole of our salvation,
As winds the pilgrim rout
By Mecca’s holy station.

Why art thou slumber bound,
Like clay the earth caressing?
In movement shall be found
The key to every blessing.

Barkhîz -ô- tavâf kûn bar ân qûtb-e nejât,
Mânandeh-e hâjî-ân be Ka’beh -ô- be ‘Árafât.

Che chasbîdî tô bar zamîn chôn ghel-e tar?
Âkher harak-ât shûd kelîd-e barakât.

Barkhîz = Rise up
Ô = also can be written “va” means and
Tavâf = Pilgrimage

Bar ân = To which
Qûtb = Pole, here means the Master of the path
Nejât = Salvation
Mânandeh = Like
Hajî-ân = Pilgram of Mecca, ” ân ” is the plural sign.

Ka’beh = The sacred temple at Mecca, the most spiritual pilgrimage site
for Muslims
‘Árafât = Mountain near Mecca, where pilgrims spend a day of
commemorating God during Hajj. It is also said that Adem and Eve met
each other in ‘Árafât after their descension from Paradize to the earth.

Chasbîdî = Attached
Tô = You
Bar zamîn = To the Earth
Chôn = Like, liken
Ghel-e tar = The wet clay, “tar” also means fresh.
Âkher = At last, at the end
Harak-ât = Movement, “ât” at the end is the plural sign.
Shûd = Became
Kelîd = Key
Barakât = Blessing, grace
